R3 standard with many mods
put a Bridgestone on the back a couple of months ago and really happy with its performance.
However, am now experiencing uneven wear on the front tyre which is a Metz. admittedly the front was nearing replacement when the rear went on but I've never had a tyre showing such uneven wear as this.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I got the same wear as you fitting a new metzeler on the rear, I think it started to wear like that be for i fitted new rear it might just go like that towards the end of its life, any one else ?

I have experinced the same uneven wear on both Metzler and Avon front tires. It always seems to show on the right hand side of the tire weather you ride on the left side of the centerline or the right side. It may have something to do with differences in the camber force on the front forks when turning, or differences in how you break when cornering. Nothing new.

I have cord showing on several places on the left side of my front tire, so I have uneven wear as well, seems to be common with these. It's 8500 miles on the original Metz, Goodyear Eagle GT on the back.

I've been grounded two weeks waiting on a new front. I've tried going through a local shop close to home, the Dunlop 404 was back ordered, so I gave up on it and ordered a Shinko, but it got shipped to the wrong location somehow. If I don't have it by tomorrow I may just have to order it online myself and take it somewhere else to get changed.

I had cupping and uneven wear on the 3, I believe, Metz front tires I used. Avons did much better until the last set, which both front and rear looked like they had belts seperating inside. Now I'm running Bridgestones (much less expensive than both!) and too early to tell on long term, but I'm really liking them over the past few hundred miles.

I ordered the bridgestones front and rear on Monday and they were at my door Thursday afternoon:confused:
