TuneECU help loading Penner map 2020 R Android

Thank you! Turns out my problem was simply that I didn't click down one to fully turn the bike on. Once I did that, the ecu connected no problem and I was able to update to the Penner full power map easy peasy. Thank you for your help. This forum is awesome!

BTW: really wakes the bike up!
Well done, glad you've joined the Penner club! Note that you may have to reload the map when the dealer services it, they often load new ECU software, and software for other modules like BT and ABS.

Is there a way to tell that the custom map was overwritten during service?
Only if you track the write count yourself (checking it before and after service). Normally the dealer will tell you if they update the ECU, ABS module, BT module etc, but if in doubt ask them. They also won't normally know in detail what has changed in an update, it'll just be Triumph sending out a new image and the dealer tool will tell them it is needed. So if they have updated it, load the Penner maps again. My dealer is pretty cool, and knowing I had loaded a tune even told me one time they flashed the ECU and said I should probably load my custom tune again.
