Interesting bit of news over at TuneECU.com - apparently it's coming out for Android. Should be interesting to see about hooking it up to my Nexus 7 tablet. Wonder how that will work? Off the cuff guess, you need an OTG USB cable, but maybe I'm wrong.

I saw that as well, and am looking forward to it. I suspect that they will use a bluetooth or wifi connector to transfer the data - sort of like the "Torque" app uses.

cr0ft it has well recognized :), also Android version is used with cable, and for the further use of the existing FTDI cable, an additional OTG adapter is required.
And the Android device itself, of course, must be OTG capability.

Regards,

Tom

My Nexus 7 2013-model should work fine then, even have the OTG adapter already so I can plug in USB stuff. A nice cheap option for Triumph riders who want to use the software, a Nexus 7 is only $229 from Google (or $300-something if you want more storage space and 4G) - and you get a great tablet to read books off or surf the web with. Should be interesting to try that out.

Tom, being android based I assume a platform independent Java version could now be possible? For use on Linux.....or am I getting ahead of myself :)
