I have TuneBoy, D&D pipes, K&N's, and have removed the O2 sensor.

Just got my registration renewal notice with "Emissions Test Required" (only state to require this and I live in it)

Think it will pass the AZ emissions test?

You must live in or around Phoenix. (SE AZ here) Did you keep the O2 sensor?

Might be wrong but from reading the forums, I think the main reason for removing the O2 sensor was it caused the ECU to over ride the programmed maps for a more ECO friendly / lower power tune. I would think if you reinstalled it for the test, is should pass.

Disclaimer: This is my impression from what I have read and not tested fact!

Did the D&Ds replace the cat box? I would refit the O2 Sensor and give it a try. If they treat bikes the same as cars all they will do is plug into the OBD2 port and check for codes. I haven't owned a bike for more than 5 years since they started testing them here so I can't say for sure.

If you still have a cat you should pass even if they do a sniff test.

Are we ready for the results, went in as it was (no cat, no O2, K&N's, TuneBoy, and D&D's)........drum roll please..........

PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D

1800 HC allowed, I had 62
5.5 % CO allowed, I had 1.01

Seem to me all this extra weight in a cat and an O2 sensor are not needed......
