tunebot trouble

There is a 9000 rpm map for the touring done by Wayne McDonald special for Carpenter Racing. There is some glitches to work out which is what is holding the tune up. Tune Boy and Bob Carpenter will get things figured out they always do. As for the Tune ECU well they do not do expanded maps for the ECU as of yet and I am not sure if they ever will.
As for the speed rating of the tires you can just buy higher speed rated ones and that will fix that problem.

I've yet to find any in the original size. Are you aware of any higher rated tires (excluding car tires) that will fit the R3T rims? Bridgestone makes a V rated 180 70 16 but they advise not to use it on the Rocket.

I do not know why a Battax bridgestone would not work or who they is that advised you not to use a bridgestone tire on your bike. but the have a 200 also. I have looked at the touring before and believe a 200 MM tire will go on the back nicely. The exedra is a nice tire in fact R34Me stated he will never go back to a meztler now that he has the exedra on his.
I am sure there are mor out there you just got to search around.
Me I have wiring schematics to look at for Rich. and I am glad I have high power glasses:D

The Excedra was the tire that was recalled. When I inquired about the V rated model they specifically said not to mount it on the R3T, and instead advised me to use the Metzler. As to mounting 200 series tires, its a matter of squeezing them onto the 5" rim. Most manufacturers I've checked recommend a 6" wheel for the 200 tire.

And believe me, I've been looking for a suitable V rated tire for two years. So far, nothing in the stock size.
