I currently have a standard rocket running tors and cat eliminator. I plan on adding triple K&N filters this week but I am unsure of which tune to run. I noticed there was one that had jardines instead of TORs. (Power-Tripp Jardine 3xK&NRU-2780a.hex) Would this one work or is there something else that is recommended for my setup? I would like to get a PCV, but it isn't in my budget right now. Suggestions?

This one will work well for you if you have tuneboy.

I have the same set up that you are going to use. This tune is a work in progress. I have most of the decel pop is gone but like I said it's a work in progress.

It's basically the 20050DynoFinalMap_WithPods_And_IgnRetard.hex map with the ignition map replaced Wayne Tripps map for the under seat K&N filter. A little fuel is added between 1000-2200 rpm at zero throttle trying to stop the decel pop, witch was more of a bang with the just the base tune. It ran well with the base tune but it was rather harsh. It has smoothed out with the Wayne Tripp ignition tables.

Also the Red Line is bumped up to 6700 rpm (seemed like a good idea at the time), and the fan turns on at 100 instead of 103, the speedo correction is at 5.5% because I run a darkside, Move it to 6.5% it your using a MC tire.

BTW still a novice with the TUNE ECU. There has been several weeks of tweaking to get here. No dyno runs just seat of the pants and listening to her.

Thanks Rocket Scientist however, I do not have tuneboy. If I cant find a suitable alternative, I may try and manually convert it for TuneEcu. Lester, thanks for sharing your map with me. Did you ever try the 2780a map?

No. But I trust Wayne's maps more the any other . The map you're referring to is for Jardanes witch are freer flowing than our TORs there for needing more fuel .

I ran the base map for 1700 miles with no ill effects other than decel
pop [bang]. I made the change to Tripp's ignition tables because he has a less of an ignition advance at the lower power levels . He also has slightly more advance at higher power settings . Plus I added a little fuel to further combat the pop.

As I mentioned this is a work in progress. feel free to start with any map of your choosing.

This TuneECU tune will work a treat for you:)

I have been using this tune on my 05 with the 3 kn's, TOR's & cat/delete. It works really well other than a little backfiring on the over run.Below 1500rpm. Idle is rock steady @ 850rpm.

Hanso, I am running the map you posted and so far so good. Very smooth power delivery. However, I cant help but be a little paranoid about running lean. Jake, good to hear that map is working well for you .

I have towed my 450 kg(990lb) camper trailer while running that map for 800km (500mile) in a day with out any isues the leaner AFR's That I used are still with in the safe running range acording to a DynoJet Dyno Operater that I consulted the max leaness I was told is 14.75 I have only gone to 14.5 this lean area is only in the cruise zone where you are not putting the motor under any real load, as soon as you twist the throttle you jump into the richer fuel zone and are rewarded with more power these AFR's are also richer then The Triumphs original tunes so are there fore safer for your motor but if it really bothers you next time you connect up your laptop you can get the map in your bike and change it to say 14.00 and it will be richer but the fuel economy will also drop.... your call ...... me I am happy with it and have done about 5,000 km with it so far the only change I have made and said so elsewhere is to put 10 in the 0% throttle column from 1,500RPM onwards this just completely removed a little snatchieness I was experiencing coming of a closed throttle

Hanso, I have been running the tune you provided me for some time. My only complaint is some decel pop. Is there anything I can do to combat this?
