Triumph ROCKET 3R
🤬🤬🤬
when I wanted to start the engine, it started a little and stalled. As a result, the start relay burned out. I replaced the RELAY. , but the relay burned out again. Then I unscrewed the starter motor, and look what I found 🙈🙈🙈.
The magnet came off, and the engine burned out 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Do you have any idea where to find a cheap new starter???

I had that happen on a Moto Guzzi I owned many years ago.
I thought that I fried the whole system when it happened, but once the starter was replaced everything was working fine, thankfully.

It was a Valeo branded product. I was not impressed, but I never heard anyone before or since that had such a failure, until now.

The relay may have gone bad and kept the starter engaged
guessing the starter is built to rotate 200-300 rpm so when it starts the bendix (one way operation similar to a ratchet wrench) free wheels while releasing
but if it stays applied then it will destroy the bendex and lockup and spin that starter (guessing) about 8000 to 10,000 rpm until it melts down.

looks there are cross referenced parts in other brands and engines, cheaper than OEM triumph

you can also email Denso and ask them about cross reference for that part, just dont give them OEM triumph part number, give them the other number
tg4 38000 5310 and see if they have it or can share the specs for the starter, so you can buy elsewhere but Triumph as Triumph starter is extremely expensive

lot of triumph parts shared by hayabusa, like the clutch plates itself so below is hayabusa starter listing and for comparison I have put rocket start motor picture from ebay
