What tranmission symptoms did anyone have prior to getting the upgrade?

Mine just wont stay in second...at all.

It either drops back down into 1st. or jumps up to 3rd.

Makes for an interesting ride home!

..sounds to me like you're a perfect candidate for the upgrade kit..jumping out of second gear is the one they look for..go for it..let us know how it all shakes out..

Yep,,several of us have had this problem...get the upgrade...problem solved...it may still "clunk" though..a sound I had grown to accept...
