The heated grip kit and fog light kit comes with this plastic handlebar mounted box for your toggle switches.

Has anyone out there found a nicer looking replacement for it?

The toggle switches look ok I think - but could be better. I wonder about the rain getting in through the top of the triumph switches. Doesn't look that waterproof. Defintely has that 'afterthought' design feel to it.

The Harley one looks good. ****.

Hears a item i just found its called a heat-troller http://www.warmnsafe.com It looks like a dimmer switch in your house it installs in the left handgrip control looks like a good way to get rid of the plastic box and have variable heat control to the grips 8)

Hmm.. worth looking into. It's better not to turn the grips on on a warmer day. The "low" setting should, I think, be labelled "1st degree burns" and the "high" should prolly be 2nd or 3rd degree.

I'm exaggerating of course...but they get well hot. It would be nice to have a more finely graduated scale. It's hard enough doing me needlepoint with these bunches of bananas, without having the fingers burned off.

This is me just wimp-twaddling: I love the grips, and am really glad that they've got the oomph to keep my mitts alive in the mountains.
