Any 1 out there know the how 2`s, or has done, a Thumb Brake for a Rocket ?
Would luv 2 hear from you ! Have a Buggard right leg an afta 3yrs on a R III, think it would be a good idea to utilize rear brake on occasions.

I can't even find a picture of one.
Who makes this contraption?
Here's what I been thinkin i want.
Remember the old shifter off say a 66 malibu?
You had to push the top black button down to change gears,
I'm thinkin' that might just work on the side of my tank,
suicide shift anyone???
if the button could work the clutch,,,,
ya just never know.....

Try theses

Thumb Brake Lever
There are two Wheaver Design Thumbrakes (01782513363). Which we can supply through our grant system for disabled riders.
http://www.nabd.org.uk/adaptions/wheaverthumb.htmThe Universal Thumbrake can be mounted on the left-hand side or right-hand side of the bars, on 1" or 7/8" bars. This thumbrake can be used to operate either the front or rear brake. It uses about 10mm of room on the handlebar.
The fork mounted thumb brake, which clamps to the top of the left fork of the machine immediately below the top yoke, very useful when the machine has very short or limited room on the handlebars.
There are no hydraulic pipes supplied with these kits so you will need to purchase these to suit your particular machine. We recommend that good quality braided hoses are used to maximise braking efficiency.
There is also a left handle bar mounted thumbrake to fit 7/8" bars, suitable for smaller bikes.
http://www.nabd.org.uk/adaptions/k_levers.htmTwin Hydraulic or Cable Levers (Kliktronic K-Lever2)
The twin brake or clutch & brake lever kit, engineered by Kliktronic Ltd (01359242100 Home ) which we can supply through our grant system for disabled riders, consists of two levers mounted parallel one above the other on a single handlebar clamp. Each lever operates a separate cable or hydraulic master cylinder mounted into a single block thus taking up significantly less room on the handlebar.
This unit has the capacity to operate on bikes or trikes.
The levers can be utilised to operate two brake systems or brake & clutch system - two sizes of cylinder module are available.
This twin lever kit can be used on either side of the handlebars and to fits 1" or 7/8" bars using the adapter supplied.
There are no hydraulic pipes or reservoirs supplied with this kit so you will need to purchase these to suit your particular machine.

When Mick Doohan bugged up his leg in MotoGP he used a thumb rear brake and still won the world championship
