Turning bars to left full stop does not effect throttle, turning bars to right about half way from center to full stop freezes the throttle no matter where I have the throttle grip position. Meaning if throttle is closed for idle, then fine but if throttled up to say 2 or 3 or whatever K rpm’s then it stays there without my hand on the throttle. Before I make matters worse where do I start? Can I adjust cables at intakes? Will that result in tpms adjustments needed or other things?

on my 07 it is free like you can wiggle it with no drag.
it has about 2mm b4 it starts to move the throttle bodys
if it is dragging then you probably need to back it off till you have slack the tighten it back up
my 07 has about 1/4 inch of threads above the nuts on the throttle bodies u have to back the nut on top before you can move the bottom nuts to change the settings.
i have an 15 and both of them are about 1/2 inch but the throttle is stiff like they are set to tight.
hth herman
at the throttle bodies the one on the inside is the throttle close
the outside is the throttle open.

i do not think that it will affect any other settings unless some one has set it way off.
should be ok

Fine adjustment up top the rest below down by the throttle body mounting bracket where you check the cable freeplay.
This is a push pull system messing with what people mistake as a idle stop screw and incorrect cable freeplay binds the stepper motor controls leading to people thinking they are having a Idle Stepper Control Motor problem.
The adjustment procedures are in the manual. !!!!
If you haven't messed with checking up top I'd take a peek for frade cables making it stick .

The easiest thing to do is spray some cable lube down the cables first. Corrosion buildup can bind the cables. The procedure for removing throttle cables starts on page 11.120 of the service manual. If you don't have a manual (available on IDK's posts) we can step you thru it.
