Triumph was quick getting the warranty part to the dealer. Installed late this pm.

Got a call from Classic Motorsports, it was the heated grip malfunction. New one on the way from Triumph. Makes me nervous going on long trips now.


That would be fun,especially in the Black Hills of the Dakoda's i've broken down a few times going cross country. It's funny how unprepared some of those tow truck drivers are. I carry 4 of these straps that wrap around the handle bars and crash bars, they keep the hooks from gouging your bike. They say there's a Harley dealer around every corner..

Throttle Broke - R3T Heated Grips

I was riding home form work and my throttle broke only have 1400 miles on it.. From reading the thread it looks like their may be a defect in the heated grips....

Yes, hopefully the replacement is better engineered. Afraid to use it though

Replaced with Avon Grips

Just finished installing Avon grips on my R3T.. Checked with my delaer about Triumph's Heated Grips he stated that there are no recalls for the grips. Sending me a new pair.. but I won't put them on.. don't trust them and having them break on you when you're out of town at night kinda sucks..

Triumph should pull these off the market until they fix the defective cam that keeps fracturing..
