My throttle cable was too loose-a bit more than 3/8" (maybe 1/2") slack at the grip.

I adjusted it at the grip and did not go to the throttle body end of the cable.
Anybody see an issue with not going to the engine end of the cables?
It seems to be working fine.

thanks,

DJ

****, that's way too much..if if it throttles down to idle at 850 to 1,000 rpm's with no problem, you should be good to go. I don't see why it would matter which end ya do it from

A mate's bike was too loose and the cable managed to wind itself off the pulley at the throttle end. THAT was an interesting fifteen kms or so at idle revs, till we could fix it!!
