Hi all, thinking of putting a water temp gauge on rocket, was looking at triumph accesories but cant find any on their site, anyone got any ideas, thanks

Scangauge will give you coolant temp as well as a number of other readings. Plugs into the OBD2 connector.

Overkill?

Just fitted the fuel gauge. Gonna get the clock. Might get this one. I wonder how many gauges I can add before it reaches ridiculous. Hey, it's a big bike. :)

Can always get one of those very large tachs and mount it in front of my windscreen, then I could hang with the NASCAR crowd.

Please post how it wires in.

recieved the gauge a week ago but have'nt fitted it yet, it has rocket wiring instructions, and you have to cut the top radiator hose to fit the sensor, it looks pretty straight forward, will post results when done, but i'm in no hurry so it might be a while, cheers.

scangauge is way to go....

Scangauge will give you coolant temp as well as a number of other readings. Plugs into the OBD2 connector.

Have had no problems with scangauge and as GPMAZ says it does a lot more...read codes, clear codes and the entire OBD data list (plus others that you can manually key in). The only drawback is the relatively slow (2sec) update rate,,,which is no issue on something like the temp. The tach is a little annoying, but I've grown used to it and since it is not on a high-revving sport bike its not really a prob either.
