Teaching my wife to ride

Wouldn't it be wiser to let her take the course first and get enraged with them and then you can come along after and save the day? Instead of winding up on the couch if things don't go as planned.

I'm a risk taker! She hasn't stood over with a weapon yet.

Seeing that Honda brings back memories for me . My girlfriend learned on a Montesa back in 1975 and graduated up to a Honda 350 XL .. She loved to ride she's a little frail these days with a new hip replacement but still likes to ride two up..

Teach her the MSF way. Balance the bike with feet on the ground, duck-walk the bike, and then a slow, short ride. Build up from there.

i was teaching a MSF/BRC class this weekend in fact just finished a couple of hours ago and boy was it hot 125f on the asphalt. Anyhoo wee had one space open your lovely wife could have joined us.

Tell you the truth boys I would rather have a fresh/new rider in my class than someone who has had the husband screaming at them and sleeping on the couch for two weeks give them to us without any bad habits.

Good luck mate. My lady has had her car license for 26 years and it seems she's still learning to drive the way she goes about it ...................................
