Super Closeout MotoSuperStore

Candidly speaking, I ordered a set of Cortech (Tourmaster) bags for my KLR from them. The price was right but the shipping was dismal (though free). I never received a conformation e-mail from them even though the ad stated that they would be shipped in 24 hours. They weren't. They actually shipped a full 14 days after I placed the order and my card was charged......immediately.

Then it took another week and a half for the bags to arrive (after I finally got a conformation in 2 weeks). I realize it was free shipping and I wasn't in a rush, but communications could have been better.

I was just about ready to do a charge back on them and they showed up.

My take is, if you are in a rush, don't deal with them. Sorta like Bike Bandit. You'll get it. Just when is a crapshoot.

My business ethic is that if I'm out of a particular item (it happens), I tell my customer right away. If I have it, it goes out...right away.

A good part of the riding gear I wear comes from Motorcycle Closeouts. I ordered some summer riding shoes via mail order and learned that while they accept PayPal it can delay delivery.

The rest of the purchases were made at their store in Kansas City. Some of the stuff I buy is difficult to size online, but it was worth the trip. They are great folks.
