Starting to customize

Hello all!! Have owned my Rocket new since 2013 and am starting to spend money I don't have to begin the customizing process. It gets expensive real quick, doesn't it?

Hello, and Welcome from Florida's Sun Coast!
I skipped the TORS or DandD slip ons and tried for the best performance bump for the least $$$ from reading here. I did replace the restrictive tie in pipe with a free flow crossover pipe fabricated by (a fellow R3 forum follower ) Paul Bryant in NZ.
That, and a slightly tweaked stock TUNEECU map from HansO ...has that bug eating grin plastered on my mug even just thinking about any excuse to go riding my 2011R3T!
VERY IMPRESSIVE bang for the buck...I usually am spending money I don't have either....so I can relate.
Side note... I lived near Alexandria MN for a short time in 1980...do those mosquitos still grow to a size that carry off dogs and small children up there?
.

Thanks!! I've got the Dave Platt outlaws and the ramair installed, luckily I have a custom tune shop nearby. Going to make an appointment with them in the near future, to have a Power Commander V installed and get her tuned up. Exciting stuff!
unless the tune shop can tune via TuneECU save your money and get the Lonelec TuneECU cable from here Diagnostic Interface for TuneECU Motorbikes then download the free software from here TuneECU - Links and ... then send me your email address in a conversation and I will liven her up and restrict her All the way with one of my tweaked tune please mention year model and any mods you have made

If you are thinking about Exhaust Systems ....
I make a few.

Welcome from Maine, yes the bugs bite up here to, on your skin and in your Rocket wallet, had mine just over a month and nearly 5 grand in add ons. Spent mine on front fork cartridges, rear shocks, german 2 inch crash bars, sissy bar for the misses, bags, windshield, tire kit, well you get the picture, someday it'll stop snowing too, may need snow tires, on no, the DARK side!
