2013 Rocket 3 Roadster
Hello all!! Have owned my Rocket new since 2013 and am starting to spend money I don't have to begin the customizing process. It gets expensive real quick, doesn't it?

Welcome from Australia
Once you start its hard to stop spending $$$$$$$ on the big girl
Thanks!! I've got the Dave Platt outlaws and the ramair installed, luckily I have a custom tune shop nearby. Going to make an appointment with them in the near future, to have a Power Commander V installed and get her tuned up. Exciting stuff!

WELCOME to ya, from WA State.
Perhaps add your location under your avatar . . . :inlove

Welcome from Alabama. The Mod Monkey gets on your back pretty quick.
I was out in the garage half an hour ago trying to decide what mods I can do first and stay as economical as possible. The monkey sez do it, do it, do it! My thought patterns were running together on what to do. Just had the bike 3 days and just noticed " That looks like a small wrench is missing from the tool kit underneath the seat." "That is probably a difficult item to find. Wonder what it cost?" I couldn't resist popping the seat off for a look-see under there. Spent another half hour wiping some dust and some grime out of that area. "Boy the Ramair kit will certainly free up some space under here.", I thought. "Then we gotta get that exhaust flowing...and a tune". It happens that fast!

It certainly does...I figure by the time I am done I will have spent half my bikes initial cost!

the old air box makes a nice spot for a Powercomander V

It does have a sena that provides weather and traffic as well as warnings about construction:)

Sorry just needed to vent a bit, some of you have vastly more miles than I do, but I think 30,000 miles in all weather types all done on very fast bikes and being a riding coach give me at least some semblance of knowing what the hell Im doing.

Expensive helmet was bought for one reason and one reason only: It's the lightest Snell, DOT, and ECE full face money can buy. The fact it's comfortable and safe as hell are bonuses.

I've spent the MSRP in accessories and mods, it's easy to do!

Think I've finally hit "Nirvana", I don't feel the slightest need to buy anything but gas tires and oil....for now.
