Spring Ritual

The "Old Girl" got her spring cleaning today. Even after 30 thousand miles and seven years this motorcycle still puts a smile on my face everytime I twist the throttle.

Old Blackie might have a little "character dirt" but is still going strong. Good to see you and glad you survied the horrible winter we just endured. I think I got cold at least once.

Sorry, I am fully prepared to be shunned by the whole clean bike congregation......

BTW,

For those of us who suffered from the paint bubbling on the waterpump housing on the gray motors. I sanded mine down to smooth, hit the the area with plain automotive gray primer and good as new. Really a pretty close match...
