AFAIK the extra height in the Roadster is entirely due to a thicker standard seat. So if you have any of their older aftermarket seats you should save about one inch immediately. I don't think they changed the construction of the aftermarket seats for the Roadster, so even if you buy a new one you should still get the benefit. As mentioned by someone earlier the Roadster gel dual seat - despite the confusing name this was produced for the ore Roadster Rockets - is lower and really feels it.
