I sold my 2006 Rocket Classic. The one I purchased for $3000. The bike has a little over $5000 in accessories on it when I bought it. I took about $3000 worth of accessories off of it. Put several of the parts on my Red Rocket. Then sold 2 items for $300 and then sold the bike to the local Triumph dealer for $5800.
This is the bike I bought with the popping out of second gear problem. I wanted it for the parts I wanted to put on my bike and my test comparing Dobeck Performance AFR Plus to TuneECU. The bike runs fine. If you don't whale on second gear you would not even know there was a problem. This bike was the TuneECU unit. It benefitted from my test and gained 14 HP and 5 TQ.
I showed and explained to the dealer all about the up-date kit and showed them how it has a few thousand dollars worth of parts in it for just $209 retail. Their shop had quoted me 16 hours labor at $1350. The dealer is going to install the up-date kit and resell the bike.
I'm happy. The next owner will be too.
