Has anyone fitted progressive 440 shock absorbers ,if so is it worth spending money on them .
And did it make much difference to the handling of the bike. Been told these are most popular for R3. I heard off other R3 bikers that a replacment hasnt made much difference to handling. UK BIKER

I have a set of them along with YSS and Hagon Nitros. I keep changing them out to see what I like and I keep going back to the Hagons.

So I would rate
1.) Hagons
2.) YSS
3.) Progressive

Oh and YES I imagine any shock is a improvement over stock no matter what brand:D

Hagon Nitros be my #1 choice ... but i'm running Gazi's , happy with them now they are set up right.

Andy ,I've tried 440's and thought that they were good but there are two types and I found that two up the standard 440's were too soft so if you take a pillion go for the heavy duty ones.Or if you want to go for the very best try Maxton.

See Power-Tripp's post about the group buy on Hagons. A very good deal for what many consider the best option.
