Yeah but back in the seventy's and eighty's we didn't have the onset of arthritis!!!

The recent loaner I had from the dealer (Sachs Roadster POS) had my hands numb after 5 minutes. The bike actually was quite nimble for a 650 and just about the best brakes I've ever experienced but the riding position reinforced my fondness for feet forward, upright riding. When I hoped back on the Rocket after only two 20 min trips on the Sachs it felt so smooth. The ISO grips no doubt help but these bikes really don't have very much vibration and the fact you're not resting on your hands makes for a very comfortable ride IMO.

Maybe someone already mentioned this, but a simple thing like a change of gloves, or a change in the way you grip the grip can have an impact on numbness in the hands.

tried about five different types of Gloves always gone back to the Summer gloves, I know it might sound weird but thick winter glove have resulted in colder hands than the summer gloves, Arthritis does not so much relate to temp as much as pressure required to maintain grip and the fine vibes coming throught the hard standard grips as opposed to the ISO grips are the main culprit
