Screw the Weather

Yeah I was assuming the same. Scrumpy had a revival here in Oz a few years ago but was neve the same as the old stuff in the 1970's in the 2 litre swell bottom 'goonies'.

Over in the next town is one of the oldest cider makers in England , they still use a press thats over 400 years old . Their Devon scrumpy will strip varnish ! We used to ride our mopeds over there and buy a gallon , they never questioned our age as they werent a licenced seller . We would ride down to the nearby river , build a fire and drink and smoke til we were sick and then try and make our way back home thru the deserted country lanes . It's a good job mopeds weren't fast coz it was invariably carnage !
Ah to be young .

Sounds like our local bodega. Local red wine 5L = 5€ (6€ if you need a new jug). Rough as sin - so they add sugar.
