Sad weekend

Very sad news! Bill seemed an exceptionally nice guy based on my interaction with him at RAA.

This is very sad for his family, who are in my thoughts. Tragic. I hope his wife has a speedy recovery.
I have to agree with the remarks about the helmet. My Amanda hit the ground with her chin at only about 70 km/h and the fact she was wearing a good quality helmet (shoei) saved from serious head injury and possibly leaving her jaw on the road. Bad enough to have a broken bone or 2, but at least I have 'her'. No one plans an accident.

Sad News To lose a friend and even sadder two girls lost their Father

Very sad. Condolences to all and wishing his wife a speedy recovery. She will have some hard times ahead.

Really sad. I just read about it on FB. Bill was a really great guy, I met him in Arkansas over a few beers and continued the friendship in Maggie Valley. The older I get the more it happens, friends leaving us. Blessings on your next journey Bill, I for one, will miss ya.
