Well my fellow members I have booked a room at the Comfort Inn for Saturday night which is directly across the street from The Holiday. I will get to meet you guys and I can tell you that I'm very excited. I look forward to meeting you!!
I have to work Fri so very early Sat morning I will be on my way up to MV and hopefully get there before you leave out on the rides in order I can ride with you. If I don't make it there in time I will ride "The Dragon" route and run into you guys somewhere.
NEWS FLASH !!!!! For all the western captains west of the Mississippi River heading into Arkansas, they reported on the 6:00 news that the east bound lanes of interstate 40 are now reopened. The west bound lanes are still closed but suspect they will probably reopen also before your return trip after MV.
Well I talked to the male half of my parental pair and he is letting me have a choice in the Tri-fecta of his bigger bikes. I can use the Gold Wing, his 1700 CC Road Star or his 1600CC Road Star. I'm leaning toward the 1700, it's a Silverado model and has bags and a Windshield, so I'll have a little comfort along the way. The wing puts your feet right under you and with my gimp knee folded that much, after about 10 minutes on it someone would have to help me off of it. This may be the first time in history that someone has chosen a Road Star over a Gold Wing for comfort, lol. See you lot this weekend.
