Rockets Across America V – Fall Launch

Don't worry about the rain. Two years ago I canceled because it was projected to rain because of a hurricane and my BearMan didn't want me riding that far in the rain by myself and then it hardly rained and everyone had a blast. Last year we road all the way from Central TX to Maggie Valley NC in the rain. But when we got there we had a blast.

Only reason I can't go right now is elderly father-in-laws health and additional testing and doctor visits. I an participating in all those doctor visits but my BearMan is and he would be a nervous wreck with me going with out him. So I made things easy on him and cancelled for now. Hopefully things will be ironed out in the Spring and we can make that one.

We have arrived the weather is great and our hosts are great... Eating dinner now ... Then off to find a liquor store.....have a few and up early to explore the rides

Hey all. Can't wait to see those of you who are coming! This is a great place and we are looking forward to loads of fun, as always. We'll go ahead and start tonight we found the largest rocker in the world, 42 feet tall, but we couldn't fit it in the truck, sorry jduke!!!

update

Recent update. I'm bringing another new captain* with me. Please update me to 3 peeps/ 2 rockets/ will have to arrange for rooming but what the hell. Wll be leaving tomorrow but planning on spending the night somewhere on the way. Will get there about lunch Friday.

PS... I met him at BAR Rally a couple of months ago. *He drug a trailer to the rally. People said it looked like the Beverly Hill Billy's..... He, rocket and the trailer weighed in at 2900lbs on the scale in Corsicana. I saw the ticket. OMG

Looks like the beer cooler will be safe.... with billz and jduke standing guard

We rode about 230 miles today .... The dukes and wildwilley and his better half are here and the shine is out. .... Don't worry skip there will still be plenty for you
