Recently the gents from Florida, on their way to the fall rendezvous may have come through my stomping grounds. I was headed south when from my service truck I heard a roar heading north. I swear I hear a hoard of beasts on I-65 N and just south of Birmingham heading north and I was missing the party.
I very much hope everyone had a great time...without me
I sure have missed the beast; though, in the past two week I have finally gotten back in the saddle a few times. Its a ***** to loose total eye-sight, for awhile. You want to make a blind man happy, take 'em for a Rocket ride. I have to thank God for allowing me to see half as well; again.
As a matter of fact, the group from Florida may have driven by early afternoon Sunday, as well; on their ride southward facing dark skies; and likely rain? I was observing the clouds when I think I heard them thunder down I-65, about 3:30pm Sunday. While they had thundered by about ~ 8:30am, several days earlier on Thursday. The roar **** near invoked a woody. each time and I thought I was experiencing Nirvana
If it werent youse guys I may have been having a Rocket III moment on my own.
Im sorta back in the saddle kinda now and then. I got a second Buick Riviera, late model, and have been loving it. I got a hitch, will travel
