I know that there have been numberous dicussions about the price of Metzeler rear rubber, but...

I noticed that Pirelli is making a 240 rear under their 'hypersports' product line...

240/40ZR18M/CTL (79W)

I'm wondering if anyone has a thought whether or not this could be a replacement.

But those 240/40-18s look huge on an M109R. A lot bigger than our own rear skins. That 40 profile makes the diff.

You could take the 16 inch Rocket wheel and wrap duct tape around it until it is an 18 incher

I could be wrong.. but Hombre's new wheels might be larger than 16 inches which would call for a lower profile tire... but those are out there.

I think he said they were 18's so there would be more tire choices but a lower profile tire. It looks like the egotripp custom wheels are also 18's.
