luggage

Guys I am a Tiger owner today and thinking about swapping to the R3Roadster. The only worry is that my daily route is 10miles into London! I do get out for long rides every other week and my friend and I do an annual Alps tour of circa 2k miles.

Do you think the R3Roadster will be OK for that type of riding? Also I need to be able to cart my waterproofs and briefcase around. What do you guys do for luggage?

Cheers Chris
Hi Chris, I fit Hepco Becker hard bags and top box, I love them. I have got 36000km on my rocket, lttle bit hard at the back, but I am sure that the new roadster will be ok (20% softer):)

Nice ride Fausto what back pad is that as the one I bought from H&B is as hard as a rock. Good luggage though I went with the Jr. 30 liter sides and 45 liter top for when I travel.

Hi Warp9.9, what a bike!! definitly not for the faint at heart, that turbo is very intimidating; I also choose the junior 30 lt because I find the 40 lt too big. The top box is a journay TC 42, to me look nice on the bike and is easy to remove. Ride safely.

New Roadster

You won't do more than 120mph as it's electronically restricted,

This from the London newspaper. Are all Rocket III's electronically restricted as is the new Roadster to do no more than 120 MPH? Doesn't seem right to me......
