ROADSTER TEST in MC Consumer News

Just read the article at my local biker burger joint, roadster comes out a bit ahead, they were not toooo nice about its braking system basically said it sucked.
Someone will come along and post the whole write up.

I find that surprising as the GW has fantastic brakes IMHO and the test read "tie".

I would think they should compare the Goldwing to the R3 Touring rather than the Roadster

This is the stripped down Honda GW F6B and they took away the ABS???
I don't see how MCN can justify comparing a full fairing bagger of 2001 vintage with a NEW Roadster by attaching accessory windshield and leather bags to the Roadster and then discounting it because of those accessories for "styling & ergonomics". They had to find something for the Honda to win.
There were eight categories - The 5 biggest were won by the Rocket. The styling and instruments - 2 were won by GW. Brakes & tires rated a tie.
I think the new Roadster RULED the day!!!

I have seen more than once that the Roadster was considered a "naked bike". It wasn't designed to have all the luxuries of life on it.

Well, I was about to say all kinds of bad stuff about the wing, but after looking at this pic, it looks a lot like a rocket. 6 cylinders, hummm,

Mittzy,
I need an email so I can open a shared Dropbox folder with the test article for you.
I scanned it and it's a pretty large file.

It's a Valkyrie

This is not a Wing, it's a Valkryie... I've had this bike in my past and loved it...
