Replacing OEM Indicators on 2025 Rocket 3 GT Storm

Replacing the OEM indicators front and back on 2025 GT Storm. Disassembly of rear indicator assembly seems to be way more difficult that necessary - some smaller hex bolts feel like they were cemented in. Already stripped a couple trying to break them. Any suggestions? Is this typical? Should I expect the front indicators to be as difficult? Thanks!

Did you break the rear hugger all the way down? That’s the only way to really get to the bolts. I left my front ones stock. I didn’t like the wide stance in the back, but I think it’s necessary on the front with the headlights.

I've taken rear mud guard support arm off so I can access everything easily. The access is OK it's just that some of the smaller hex bolts holding the plastic assembly together are so tightly installed on mine you'd think they were holding a jet engine onto the wing.

More likely too strong a thread locker was used.

Any suggestions for removal other than drill out and replace with new hex bolts?

Heat is your friend with thread lockers, but with all that plastic around it… Maybe a soldering iron on the bolt?

This is where an induction heat gun comes in handy.
