Sorry - tried to post once and not sure if it made it?
I thought I'd done my homework regarding this subject here on the forum - but.........
30 minute job has turned into a mess.
Removal of old rear light, blinkers, number plate light not problem. I did notice that they all had a sperate ground. The new unit only has one ground.
Indicators work - but fast flashing
Rear light - not working
Brake light - not working
Licence plate light - not working
When you say inline resistor - where and what value - is a relay a better way to go and yet again the same question. How is it connected ?
Also my thought on all the grounds been connected to the one ground on the replacement unit - is that correct thinking?
For the fast flashing change the stock flasher for an electronic one that is not load dependant. For the other issues LEDs are directional, incandescent bulbs don't care. Many have had to reverse the feed and ground wires to get turn signals to work.
