Recondition fork tubes

Hello there

Im just wondering if anybody has had any experience with rechroming their fork tubes and also coating them in black? If so, what price am I looking at?

Can't remember anyone re-chroming fork legs .. I've got a set down in the shed that need doing. Won't be bothering until they are needed though.

The black powder coated option sounds good. There's a good powder coated near Newcastle, look for Barry Burrell on Google.

Iv'e been looking around the internet and managed to find a company that do re-chroming at a good price £139 for the pair. They also do powder coating which is so convenient, i have an option between satin or gloss black on my lowers. Just followed the link and it certainly seems like they know what they're doing (speaking from an engineering point of view). Also nice to find a one-stop shop.
