Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Thanks for the responses. I have a 2011 R3 roadster. I believe that CAT is separate from the muffler. The bike has plenty of power, so I'm most interested in a louder bike.

I conducted a search and couldn't find any online stores selling the TORs exhaust. Are they only available at the dealer? Thanks
Pull all the stock mufflers and CAT off and stick any 1 3/4" inlet muffler on the back of the factory 3/1 header. I've made several different ones for mine in the last 20K+ miles and settled on a 4" megaphone.

I got rid of the Harley because, among other things, of it being loud, felt bad about waking my neighbors and others in some other neighborhoods along the way to work. I like the quietness of the stock set up because they can't hear me coming, I'm there...and then I'm gone and they don't know what happened as they never "heard" me coming....I like that. I wouldn't mind a little more rumble but I don't want to blast anyone either.

Although I don't think they are much louder than stock. I have a set of TORs and the Cat bypass that I just removed to install the Jardines. Pre-shipping, could easily get you under your $500 mark for the full set (full exhaust including cat delete) with all shields.

EDIT: These TORs are for pre-Roadsters. Just realized post was regarding 2011 bike.

well if louder pipes is all your looking for and 500 bucks is all you want to spend TORS are your best option. Jardines are out because you have a newer bike and it will not except the older TORS. As people pointed out the header on the bike really sucks. What one really needs to consider is whats next. After all Horse power is addicting I for one know that and have felt the difference when going back to a NA bike with some mods. And they are dogs!!!!!!!! I kown this sounds wierd but after riding Gracie I was already planning on a Carpenter 240 upgrade even made enough parts for Carpenter Racingto Pay to get another carpenter pipe. And at present I am thinking about a Silver back although I am not sold on the new ECU. If you look at post most of the ECU problems have been with the new style ECU and some peopel have had problems. One in particular itis ZEN who stated tune boy would not reconize the tune he had. Of course he borrowed a cable which I am not convinced workes with the new multi trim mpa system tune boy uses. sure you might be able to copy the existing map and trim table with tune uec but it does not coy all th eparameters in the multi trim program thus giving you problems tuning. The real question is when you copy a multi trim tune boy map does the rubne constants contain this information

if not the you are again limited intill you purchase the newest tune boy software in a nut shell there be only one!!!!!!!!!

I am sure this sounds like I am a prick. be asured I am not trying to be it is just most people are not understanding what it takes to make power other then basically stock. I appoligoze if this post upsets anyone. It is mainly made to let you know how real power is produced. Even the Triumph streamliner is not using normal aquired technology.

I did finally get the Tuneboy to see my bike and had purchased a cable directly from Tuneboy. All is good with this now. Just an FYI.
