RECALL Heads up

Just checked with my dealer. I'm a lucky one, my VIN says I am not affected this recall.
 
May cause a bike to fail to start? If it fills a cylinder with fuel it may break or bend something if you try to start it.
 
Said it elsewhere; any Aussies not sure or concerned can send me their VIN (last 6) and I'll check for you. For what it's worth, the few bikes actually experiencing failure have had it happen within the first 200km. Only aware of one instance of any damage caused as a result.
 
That's helpful. Enter the VIN . . . it pops up ROCKET III Touring ABS A2 . . . "Is this your bike ?"

Click 'yes', and it returns, "No safety recalls."

For all I know, the dealer took care of it at the first service.
 
My only concern is if it is actually up to date or not, maybe this new recall is not yet implemented on the site?

Would be good if someone who has the recall could enter their VIN to check and see if it actually says there is an outstanding recall for them on there!
