Just chopped my fenders and painted, still need to stick some badges back on the tank and frame covers.. Has anyone tried doing rearsets with a Reband exhaust?... I see the Raasks are mounted to the stock mounting piece for the rail the pedal and reservoir are mounted to, looks a little close right under the collector to me, would like to make sure its doable somehow before buying. Just two little M8 bolts there, wouldnt want to use really long bolts and spacers to get it out any further away from the exhaust.. Any tips?

Thanks! the color is "Nova orange" was worried it was going to look stupid, too "Halloween-y" but happy how it turned out. fenders are stock, the front one I actually cut more off the back of it and flipped it around but it was hugging the tire so close it started shaving the tire so I flipped it back, have to redrill the mounting holes or something so I can flip it back again, prefer the short side forward, looks a little sportier... yeah looks better with just the rider seat, never know when I might pick up a ladyfriend though.. Haha just have to tilt my head a little to see the guages, seen some other guys mount them similarly, didnt really consider the inconvenience. About those rearsets though?...

After more pix, I like that "Nova Orange" even better.
Forget the rearsets. The R3R pegs are far enough back already and you'll appreciate them after your first 2 to 3K mile ride!

BTW - I REALLY like your bike lift!

Did you consider heat damage? - Have you asked Raask for more photos? - would be my start.

Great color and mods I love it.

I have posted before about these but I got a set of rear sets from a now deceased owner (Blasted Bones) off a Carpenterised Rocket 3 with carbon fiber wheels and a full on attitude. He passed riding a full race type BMW after selling the Rocket 3 which eventually went to another forum member in South Australia from memory. They are a Rizoma set with custom billet CNC alloy conversion blocks that are castellated on one side to fit the Rocket. They come with the rearsets, Brembo rear brake cyl, hoses and reservoir. They have some slight scuffs on the CNC blocks that are easy to smooth off and I bought new Rizoma pegs and a brake peg.

Photos of the CNC alloy parts etc if you are interested but I would want at least Au$500 as they are far higher quality than the Raask ones I looked at and with the solid custom CNC alloy mounts would have cost far more than that.

I have also bought the new replacement Rizoma B-PRO (PE616A) pegs pictured and have replaced the brake peg and have a spare new brake/gear lever peg which are interchangeable. Huge adjustment available with this set up. Now have the full range of spares from another discounted RIZOMA kit detailed below.

Instead of moving the fender, have you considered going to a lower profile front tire, like a 140?
