How much for the woman. I want to buy her, ( John Belushi in Blues Brothers)ha, had to be me.
I have always used just the rear unless I needed to make an emergency stop.
Feels better, thats just my style. When I want to let this bitc% loose, then I slow down with both. As for just fart'n around, it's far easier and less work if I only use the rears. When I need a rotor, as they do get hot and bend, (on my Harley), I'll replace it also. I got it very hot down at Maggie Valley. It was on Sat, Kerry and I went on our own for a put. Just using the rears with two people on the bike was a BAD mistake. I lost my rears. Boiled the fluid. By the time I got to Auto Zone, the brakes were normal.
Had it not been for DeAnna, I would still be just using the rears. What a wake-up call.
Not for being dumb enough to not have used the fronts, but for a "GIRL" to have to tell me. Kind'a embarassing. Glad it was her though.
Oh well, as for pads wearing out too soon, JUST KEEP ON REPLACING THEM. Carry spares!!!
