Glad to hear no one was hurt, but what a pain in the arse for you. In Aus we are fined $300 for being on the phone whilst driving and loose 3 points on your drivers license.
 
Sorry to hear about your accident glad no ones hurt. In Aus get fined $300 for talking on the phone whilst driving, and 3 points of your licence. if you lose 12 points in three years you lose your licence.

As for the accident in the first I think I would have been in trouble, wouldn't be able to help myself and belt the living crap out of such a dick.

Just letting you know I really feel for you too. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Hate that feeling of being stranded. If I were I'd be popping down to visit Jim in Antioch and making him feed me.

of course the guy claimed he spilled a cup of tea and not talking on a cellphone ..

now his insurance which is triple AAA has not heard from him, after 4 days he has not submitted a claim as he is supposed to do we called and the insurance will not send an adjuster to the shop to look at the damages until they hear from the policy holder I think the guy is going to skip and we may have some problems...I have his address in sacramento I may pay him a visit if he stall any longer.

hey here is an idea fed and billeted by Jim for 10 days why didn"t I think of it....I "llcall him and see I may need the extra muscle if I go to check on the jerk who hit me

just let him know that the police will be pulling his cell phone records to verify his claim. The DA will add Providing False Information to Police charge to his list if found to be on the cell phone.
 
wow man. i'd be following up with his insurance for him. and checking in with the police too. glad everyone is ok. if your trip ends up taking you around south eastern washington let me know
