Realistic Fuel Mileage?

The onboard mpg average states 33-34 mpg and i've been doing a lot of local suburb riding. No doubt the mileage will improve on the highway.

2023 GT. At 16,700mi, rural west, running avg on computer is 38.1mpg. About 41-42mpg cruising at 80mph. City, no idea….

Dash usually says 170mi +/- 10 range with a full tank. There are certainly stretches were can go 100mi+ without a gas station, so only on oft traveled routes do i go below 1/2 tank or so just out of caution.

I get about 4 hours of riding per tank or 32 mpg

I got out into the country yesterday and top gear around 70 mph was averaging +40 mpg.

Hmmm, my all time average over 10,000k's of riding (6,000 miles) is 6.41L/100k's or in US speak, 36.7 US MPG. The bike has just over 16,000k (10,000 miles) on it now.

16.5 km/l average after my recent fiddling with the tune....and no, i dont ride like a nanna nor do i ride like i have 5 mins to live..just sayin.

That's good numbers Tal, I'll never win an economy run, not when I'm 6'5" tall and weigh about 170 - 175kg (about 380lb) in full riding gear. Poor ole bike always thinks it's got 2 up!!

Over a year after my last post in this thread, and my values range from 26.3 US MPG to 44.1 US MPG, with an average of 33.6 US MPG (40.4 UK MPG or 14.3 km/l).
