Random no crank

We do not know much about the alarm system but i doubt it is the problem.
This might be a good time for u to teach us something.
With the alarm engaged will it turn over motor?
Does it turn on/flash the alarm light?
Any other info that might help us to diagnose problems

I believe I confirmed it is the security system. It's an old digital guard dawg (around 2009 based on my research). I took the FOB off my keys after confirming the bike cranks and brought it to the otherside of the house. The bike would not crank with no relay or starter solenoid clicks. As soon as I brought the fob near the bike it cranked right up again.

Looks like the system works but maybe a bit more often than it should.

This is the system I have. It seems like it just replaces the starter relay. Cool concept but pretty old and that's probably why I suspect it's failing. I'll replace the relay sometime this week and try that.

Hopefully final update. I replaced the aftermarket security relay with a new one and everything seems to be working flawlessly. Thank you for the suggestions that helped me narrow it down to the problem.

Bit of an update. I took it out today to test it. It started up just fine twice after fueling up. When I got home I tried it again and it failed to crank. I tried letting the clutch out slowly several times and it still wouldn't go. I tried turning the handlebars while trying and that didn't work. Finally I tried disabling the security system and trying that 3 different times and it finally fired. I think either the aftermarket security system is the issue or the fob isn't actually disabling it.
The problem with that is I never activate the security system so I don't know why or how it's activating.
Thank you for the suggestions and I will post another update once I remove it.
