I can't see much on your photo dude, can you pull that idle table up on your screen, hit PrtSc (print screen) key on your keyboard, and then click into the reply box on this thread, Ctrl+V keys will then paste the shot up for us to see clearly.

If you are running an old TuneECU, you can download version 2.5.5. from here TuneECU v2.5.5

Version 2.5.8 is the latest but 2.5.5. seems to work better for some folks on computers.

Of course you can always bypass all this, and turn the throttle stop grub screw (located where throttle cables join into throttle) to raise idle.. it's not in sync with the map but will work.

Thanks for your time but I seriously think I should leave anything computer related well alone!

Tried to download from the link and all I get is the instructions for tune ecu in adobe reader,no zip files nothing, so it’s raining I’m fed up messing around so it’s time for a beer or two.

Hmm maybe best just email your map to warp as requested and he'll raise the idle to the rpm you wish, and send it back to you

Ok I’ll raise it manually didn’t realise it was an option, it would’ve been good to try the 2.5.5 version on my garage laptop but the links don’t want to play, just comes back as being invalid.

Dude email me the map I'll change it and you load it right back in. Run a ISCV reset and change the voltsge points from .6 volts to .63 and the .72 volt setting to .75 the old tune ecu will do that just fine. It will take me longer to start my computer then to make the changes for you. I'll rename the map enough that you know its the one and you will still have a copy of your original. Also so you know it is a 20050 is a pretty old map some would consider it out dated :)

Thanks Warp
Appreciate your help and advice, how do you mean outdated? There seems to be few maps for the earlier Rockets, I picked the one that suited my mods the best.

I know most would say I need to get it on a Dyno and have it tuned properly but I see little point until I sort out it’s gremlins.
I decided against the beers and spent another couple of hours fiddling with settings , raised the idle manually as per turbos advice, reset the TPS settings and stepper and now I’m back to the high revs on start up , really tempted to buy a new TPS but having read through loads of posts on the idle problems I’m not even sure this is the problem!

You click on the cell you want to change, it will highlight itself then, and up/down arrows appear beside it
You can either click on the up or down arrows, or use PgUp / PgDn buttons on your keyboard.

This goes 10 at a time on this table.
If you hold down shift, PgUp / PgDn will move it 100 at a time in this table.
