Radiator shrouds and air flow

LOL! I am the same, nekkid rooolz...

My R3T was due for a radiator de-bugging so I removed all the shrouds and the screen and cleaned up all the embedded bugs. Remembering this thread, I reinstalled the screen (which I had previously sand blasted and painted black) and just put all the screws back in without the side shrouds and rear facing screens. I haven't taken it out for a ride yet, but I have to admit I kind of like the look. With the blacked out screen the radiator actually looks much smaller. All that shiny stuff surrounding the thing makes is appear much larger than it really is.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Can you post pics for those that wanted them? I lost my camera. And thanks for reminding me I should at least put the screen back on. I agree, I like the bare bones small rough look of the naked radiator.

Yeah .... cause if you don't , I'll be forced to go out and take all the parts off mine just so I can see it buck necked. (and she is shy)

Sticking the camera on the charger tonight. Check back tomorrow.....

Jeez, you guys are such teases. First no camera, then camera's on charge.

It did kind of disappear didn't it. I looks like some parts are missing ... but it did get alot smaller. Some narrow black trim to replace the big chrome parts could work, I see potential here.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Bike Bandit shows the parts but doesn't list a price. If they're not too expensive I could see buying a set of the side pieces, trim them way down and paint them black. Something in a carbon fiber would also be very nice.

I could really see this going very well on a flat black Roadster. That bike already looks stripped down, shrinking the size of the side trims would take that look farther.
