I finial broke down and purchased an Escort 9500ix to replace my nonfunctioning out dated radar detector. I will have to get it mounted ad wait for the weather to break to give it a good evaluation .

Radar detectors are pretty much worthless around here, most leo's use lasors which don't give enough warning on the detector; time it go's off it's to late. :cry:
