Thats $17,668.00 in US dollars at todays exchange rate. I am not sure what the Kangaroo to White Tail Deer exchange is at the moment though.

I don't understand why the money converter on Goggle is always wrong. Isn't it Euro to US dollar conversion?

I grew up in Alabama, and thought that was the world. Even though my family was a stereotypical Atomic Four from the sixties, and we traveled a bit in a long string of station wagons, I hadn't really, until I got to college and was able to go to France and Algeria. I was pretty stuck up on the US, with airs of the Beach Boys' 'California Girls' floating through my mind. A couple years later, I received a five page letter from a young woman who had been in the house where I stayed in Algiers. She had taken a two-week organized tour of the US, and although the tour accented the unusual, most of her letter contained what I accepted as normal, and the five pages was filled with vitriol about how poorly the US compared to her native Algeria, and after reading it several times sitting on my front porch steps I had an epiphany: Dorthy was right: there's no place like home (wherever home is).

Hit my second raccoon tonight. 50 mph and there it was. Construction zone again with concrete barriers. No place for the bastards to run too. Both times I have had really good luck and went right over the top of them. Checked the bike out and no damage just a lot of blood and guts everywhere. Going to be real fun cleaning that up, even got guts smeared up on the radiator. In eight months this makes two raccoon's, three possums and one coyote. some collection. The only thing I hit on the Harley was a deer after five years of riding it,:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I think you need kill marks on the tank like the planes in WWII.

Over 220,000 miles on motorcycles and all I have ever hit is one squirrel and 1 magpie. The Magpie hit me in the forehead and just about knocked me out even with the full face helmet on. had I gone out that would have been curtains for me.

That said, I fear hitting large animals on a motorcycle more than any other motorcycle hazard. We think that lions and tigers and bears and poisonous snakes kill a lot of people every year but the animal that kills the most people are deer, and down under, kangaroos.

Agreed that animals on the roadway are very dangerous; however, the most dangerous to me is the oncoming left turning cage!
Nothing scares me more on approach to enter an intersection than a cage sitting in there facing me with a left signal on!
