78 degrees this morning and still had about 30 miles to go after hitting the raccoon. Smelled to high heavens by the time I got home. :(:(:(:(:(
E

I hit a male Emu once out West of Blackall. Queensland in an 1982 Toyota Hilux, worst stink and guilt I have ever felt after hitting quite a few roos and wallabys over the years. Emu males raise the chicks and it had a bunch with it. Dead wombats also make me sad and a few fellow workers have cleaned up donkeys and bulls in the scrub outback. As a kid in Saudi Arabia I saw plenty of camels that had flattened the turrets of Buicks etc on the h'way from Jeddah to Riyadh in the '70's. I later came across many feral camels in the Northern Territory while 4WD driving alone in remote areas especially at night on remote tracks. I had learn't my lessons as a kid and tried to give them a wide berth, though the male bulls in rut can be quite aggressive. I did have a .308 Brno if they became too difficult.
Snakes upset me too especially the big native pythons 10-12" long that coil up a metre or so high behind you as they roil in agony. Never brake on a snaKe, it rips them up but they have a chance to survive if you just roll over them.

I hate road kills, except for feral rabbits and foxes that destroy our native wildlife. I always try to hit rabbits with head shots with the diffs to get a good feed.

Nothing like a 'Joe' advert, he probably wanted to shoot them all before they could stand in front of a bike - pure supposition on my my part and no reflection on Joes's love of wildlife and firearms. I've been there on both :D

Check out the ass hat in the 3rd video going on a manhunt for the poor dog
Richard Cranium!

Plus factor in the shipping from UK to Australia, I'm not a geography expert, but pretty sure its farther than North America:whitstling:
Seriously? How did it go there? We have dealers in the USA so I dont think we need to ship a Rocket from Australia to the USA. Not a factor. And we have a lot of White Tail Deer. Or perhaps you are referring to shipping a Kangaroo to the States?

I was referring to the difference in the price of the bike from American dollars to Australian, plus shipping for THE BIKE is still additional cost, because last time I checked, the badge on the side of my bike said "Made In Great Britain"
As far as animals go, the further north you come, the bigger they get, little children can ride our racoons here, deer are MUCH larger then down south, but even further north, they refer to deer as speedbumps, then you know you are in moose territory. I can only hope my fate will never be decided with an encounter on the road, I am always on high alert during fall when the males are in rut, they see and hear NOTHING if they are after a female.
