R3T Aftermarket Exhaust Options

So just to update all the Rocketeers who have or are presently looking for a different exhaust for our beasts, I will be coming up to RRA X with something new. What we have been doing is a cross-over with several muffler applications. 3.5" and 4" mufflers and now a version that maintains the front heat/chrome shields. And still working on getting Roadster version needing OEM parts. Ride when you can but always stay safe.
 
Hey Tracker have you listened to the sound clips I put up some time back-Recommended Exhaust Modifications for Sound. I have also completed a new version but not posted yet SORRY. We also have a couple more system modifications in the works. Hope to see you in Arkansas. Next week.
 

I didn't see anyone mention it yet, but look on this forum for power tripps download. As long as you have the stock header and crossover, the replacement K&N with TORS or D&D or Stock doesn't change the tune that much. His tune does open up the rear flies in the earlier gears for more power in the lower gears.
 
Correct me if i'm wrong , but if its a touring model R3T Has opposed to a standard or a classic , it needs 2 pipes to keep the panniers there supported by the exhausts . getting rid of 2 pipes means getting rid of the panniers , may has well just buy a standard model
 
The pipes hang off of the pannier brackets, so mounting a single pipe system should not be a problem. It's just getting used to the look of a single pipe
 
I saw where there is someone on Facebook's Triumph Rocket III Owners Group that they are making a header for Harley aftermarket exhaust.
 
In response to Glakesbiker...unfortunately, I haven't installed the D&D's, yet. I got called out on a contracting job (I'm supposed to be retired) and just ran out of time. I'm back home, but headed out overseas Thursday. Now I'll have to wait until mid-June when I get back.
 
The scaffolding supports the mufflers, not the other way around. It's all bolted to the frame in front and up top and the crossbar behind the wheel keeps the whole assembly quite stable without mufflers. So you could definitely change that up and not attach the mufflers to the stock mount back on the scaffolding. The mufflers aren't load bearing, they're load, as far as I can tell.
