I remember reading somewhere that you can buy or make lifting brackets that bolt onto the 2 holes in the frame.
Anyone have a link to that or a design I can use to weld up my own?
These brackets would need to go on a regular Harbour freight MC lift.
I am really wary of lifting the bike by the engine belly pan, with my luck I will crack it.

Yeah...see Skip. I got a couple sets off of him. The first set I purchased from Skip is somewhere between my house and where I work. The second set is securely tethered to my cycle lift, that way they won't join the first set.

yea Mac,
I can get you some.
I need to see my machine shop guy anyway on Monday.
Anybody else need a set while I'm at it.
I think he has some already made,
He charges me $25.00 a set.
not to bad i guess.
And it's about $4.95 for the box that fits at the post office.
The one they advertise, "if it fits, it ships".
Anyway if you'll include your name and address in the "details" part of paypal,
I'll get a set out to you ASAHP.
Appreciate it, and glad to help.

Thanks Skip, I will send you payment next week as we are now quickly packing for a flight leaving tonite down to Las Vegas.
Not for gambling, but renting a Harley to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.

I have a concern about the hole diameter that the pins go into, I think the diameter is different than the Classic or Standard.
I may be wrong?
My bike is in storage and I can,t get to it until I get back, so if someone here can measure the exact hole diameter for a R3 touring, I can then order from Skip.

Big Thanks Again Skip.]
