R3 as a first Bike ?

Agreed, let's not forget this rider was on the road to some extent until a few years ago, I worked for a bike dealer who offered training many moons ago and it's amazing how many people seemed convinced by their ability to handle even a 125 despite obviously having no clue how dangerous and on the edge they really were. As a newbie interested in a Rocket Roadster I'd recommend checking out the Triumph storm, incedently in UK you won't find a single Roadster demo as far as I'm aware, I test rode a variant with highway pegs and could not get on with it, it's ok when your roads are straight and made of Tarmac but here in Cornwall it's 'drip & grit' surfacing and tight bends! I admit though, first bike? Can't imagine how alien and scary it would be just to pull away on it, let alone face a corner! It's big...

GO AND RIDE ONE just remember it's not yours and take some spare underpants and your donor card.

so when are you gonna post that pic of GI Jane that u emailed me TC
I think everyone else deserves to see it

Go for it mate ... post away .... ..... i of course will deny any knowledge or being in anyway invovled.

Don't trust him Mitch. She's probably not even a GI. He sent me a pic of a tattoo and do you think I could see one? No. That poor girl, standing there all naked in different poses and all for some joke. Funny man, TC.

Finally !!!

Hi All ... I finally have my Rocket III Roadster and it's amazing. I want to thank all who took time to post and suggest. I thank all who suggested/encouraged to go for it and to those as well who warned me and brought to light the challenges and what could be consequences if I took it lightly, it will keep me honest. I will surely keep the suggestions/challenges in mind, but for now I am filled with joy. The whole experience has been worthwhile, Thank You All !!!!

I'll second that Karan lets see some pics of the proud papa! Just to add to this thread my stepson bought a liter gixxer for his first bike made it 1/2 way home and was scared ****less. Had to have it trailered the rest of the way. Now he rides a Harley 883 iron is customizing it and loving it. Have fun on your Rocket.
