Purchasing an 05 R3, Have a Few ?

Hell, The noise is exactly at 2000rmp, Through all the gears and in Nuetral wright when the needle hits 2000 the noise starts and then stops if you lower or higher rmp's. The noise doesn't change tone either, it is the same fluttering noise.

Thanks for the info on the pipes also, I thought they were not going to be loud enough, but it does sound good, and when you get on it, it is plenty loud..... and fast.....

Some things that really make me puzzled or wonder is......

This noise being directly at 2000rmp.
It doesn't make this noise when the bike is cold or for the first few minutes of riding.
This noise does not sound mechanical like valves or rods, or piston, I thought maybe it was the radiator vibration but no.
It doesn't seem to effect performance, the bike feels great and really rips through the gears and open road riding is wonderful.

No idea.
I'd just ride it and wouldn't worry about it.
Yup, if it doesnt change with RPM then I wouldn't worry about it. Mine makes all kinds of noise at all speeds. When one noise stops, another takes it's place. I write it off to the fact that it's built like a truck, transmission and all. With the triples it's like I can hear right into the cylinders, I can hear the valves and the air whistling past, if it weren't for the louder TORs all the weird noises would drive me nuts.

That is a good idea fellas, I need to relax on looking for a problem and enjoy this monster. I have had a blast the past few days......

If I take it to a Triumph Dealer one day, I'll open up this thread and update. Thanks Tdog
